This website was inspired by a color poem. It features the complementary colors of golden yellow and deep blue. It is intended as a space to enjoy, interact, and experience colors on screen, but as also place to inform on complementary colors and accessible design that considers color. 

I used things I earned in design and drawing classes as well as photography to choose my pictures and make sure that the overall layout of the pages were balanced and followed the rules of composition.

I wanted to be careful in my selections of photos for my colors. I feel that often colors can evoke certain moods and emotions in us and I wanted to showcase that while keeping a general knowledge for elements of design to keep a sleek, clean looking website. I did a bit of research on the way professional websites are laid out and also on the relationships of colors and how that can effect how we feel about the things we see.
